Meat cutter — Harrison County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a meat cutter in Harrison County, Mississippi. You will be based at an abattoir or slaughterhouse. What we are looking for: • 2+ years experience working as a butcher • Food hygiene / HACCP certificate Day to day you will run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone; trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts; sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone; debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife; break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts; weigh, price and label cuts for the display case. Part-time with flexible hours. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. We offer $3,700 per month plus benefits. Contact us to fix an interview.
