Requirements: • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery Day-to-day duties: • Apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed • Machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing • Run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production • Select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors 4+ years on the tools preferred.
