Great opportunity: we are hiring a power float operator in Penobscot County, Maine. The job is on a building construction site. Your main tasks: • Patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout • Discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms • Cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days • Erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour What we are looking for: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long hours on your feet • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules 2+ years on the tools preferred.
