Injection moulding machine operator • Menard County, Illinois

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an injection moulding machine operator in Menard County, Illinois. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable using vernier, micrometer and gauges • 1-2 years' experience operating production machinery • Basic record-keeping and part-counting skills Day-to-day duties: • Report breakdowns to the maintenance fitter • Measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges • Record output, scrap and downtime on the production sheet • Top up coolant, lubricant and hydraulic oil levels • Follow lockout-tagout before cleaning or clearing the machine • Set up and start the machine as per the job card At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. We offer $200 per day plus benefits. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
