Immediate opening: we are hiring an oven operator in Penobscot County, Maine. The role involves: • Check finished products for colour, crumb and weight • Boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing • Shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand • Decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream • Weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe What we are looking for: • Able to work early-morning and night shifts • 2+ years' experience as a baker • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
