We are recruiting: we are hiring a brick mason in Smith County, Kansas. On the job you will handle: • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser Ideal candidate: • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
