Concrete finisher — Apache County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a concrete finisher in Apache County, Arizona. You should have: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long hours on your feet • Willing to wear safety boots, helmet and full PPE • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds Day-to-day duties: • Carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab • Give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified • Erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour • Fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule • Compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing • Cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
