Shuttering carpenter — Pointe Coupee Parish

Great opportunity: we are hiring a shuttering carpenter in Pointe Coupee Parish, Louisiana. On a typical shift you will seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss; fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints; cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs; set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking; de-nail, clean and stack the panels for reuse. You should have: • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing • Hands-on with timber, plywood and system formwork • Able to read formwork and structural drawings Pay around $26 per hour, based on your experience.
