Pipe tig welder wanted in Lafayette County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a pipe tig welder in Lafayette County, Florida. You will be based at a precision engineering workshop. You will back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle; control heat input so thin sheet does not warp; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; carry out 6G pipe welds where required. What we are looking for: • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
