Machinist wanted in Monroe County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a machinist in Monroe County, New York. You will be based in a small denim manufacturing unit. On the job you will handle: • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching What we are looking for: • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
