Foundry labourer • Jackson County, Arkansas

Great opportunity: we are hiring a foundry labourer in Jackson County, Arkansas. You will be based in the melting bay of a steel foundry. On the job you will handle: • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together You should have: • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry We offer $3,700 per month plus benefits. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
