Vacancy available: we are hiring a brick mason in Simpson County, Kentucky. You will work at a renovation and extension job. You should have: • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently On a typical shift you will erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts; laying bricks to the line, level and plumb; setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge; pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints; spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel; building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation.
