Now hiring: we are hiring a machine operator in City of Portsmouth, Virginia. Your main tasks: • Pack finished goods into cartons and seal them • Move work-in-progress between stations on a hand trolley • Operate and feed production machines on the line • Read and follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) • Record output figures and downtime on the production log • Carry out in-line quality checks and reject defective pieces You should have: • Able to lift up to 25 kg repeatedly • Able to work as part of a team on a busy line • Basic reading skills to follow SOPs and labels 2+ years on the tools preferred.
