Scaffolding charge hand — Houghton County

Now hiring: we are hiring a scaffolding charge hand in Houghton County, Michigan. The job is at a shipyard. On the job you will handle: • Erect debris netting, sheeting and brick guards • Tie the scaffold back to the building with through-ties and anchors • Erect tube-and-fitting and system scaffolds such as Cuplok and Kwikstage • Dismantle the scaffold in reverse sequence and lower materials safely • Read scaffold drawings and work to the agreed loading class • Install ladder access and ladder gates between the lifts You should have: • Awareness of TG20 and SG4 safe working practice • Reliable, punctual and able to work in a gang 3+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
