Brick and block layer — Worth County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a brick and block layer in Worth County, Iowa. You will work at a renovation and extension job. The role involves: • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses • Checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
