Argon arc welder wanted in Jackson County

We are recruiting: we are hiring an argon arc welder in Jackson County, Illinois. You will be based at a pipe-fitting and pressure-vessel shop. Ideal candidate: • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding On a typical shift you will grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise. At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts. Performance bonus on top of base pay. $140 per day, negotiable for the right hands. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
