MIG welder — Angus

Great opportunity: we are hiring a MIG welder in Angus, Scotland. The role involves: • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols Requirements: • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • Willing to work shifts and overtime At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
