Offshore rigger wanted in Grant County

Immediate opening: we are hiring an offshore rigger in Grant County, West Virginia. You will be based on a high-rise building site. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles Day to day you will attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks; tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear; select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight; take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings; read lift plans and method statements before starting; check sling angles to stay within the working load limit.
