Surface coating operator — Anderson County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a surface coating operator in Anderson County, South Carolina. The job is at a fabrication and coating plant. On a typical shift you will record batch numbers, oven temperatures and coating thickness; top up and monitor pre-treatment chemical bath concentrations; inspect the finish for runs, orange peel and bare patches; pre-treat parts through phosphating and rinse tanks. Ideal candidate: • Keen eye for finish quality and surface defects • Aware of PPE, respirator and fire-safety norms • Knowledge of pre-treatment and phosphating process $22 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
