Earthmoving plant operator — Miami County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an earthmoving plant operator in Miami County, Indiana. The job is in an open-cast mine. Ideal candidate: • Able to operate excavator, loader and dozer confidently • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination On the job you will handle: • Read site drawings and follow the batter and slope profiles • Grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift • Load and unload the machine on and off the low-loader safely • Level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines • Keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
