Immediate opening: structural MIG welder (Colorado)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a structural MIG welder in Custer County, Colorado. You will work at a steel fabrication workshop. Day to day you will change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch; bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding; control distortion with a balanced welding sequence; weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions; clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead. Ideal candidate: • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium 2+ years on the tools preferred. $2,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
