Join our team: shakeout operator (Scotland)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a shakeout operator in Inverclyde, Scotland. Your main tasks: • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant What we are looking for: • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry 2+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
