Great opportunity: in-process quality controller (Illinois)

Now hiring: we are hiring an in-process quality controller in Whiteside County, Illinois. You will be based in a metal fabrication workshop. You should have: • Understanding of AQL sampling and tolerance limits • Prior experience as a QC inspector in manufacturing • ITI or diploma in a mechanical or production trade Day-to-day duties: • Verify dimensions against the tolerance limits on the technical drawing • Draw samples from batches according to AQL sampling plans • Escalate recurring defects to the line supervisor or QA engineer • Log batch numbers, lot codes and traceability data • Segregate and quarantine defective or out-of-tolerance items • Operate height gauges, profile projectors and coordinate measuring tools At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
