Warehouse packer — Cumberland County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a warehouse packer in Cumberland County, Illinois. You will work in a food packaging factory. Day-to-day duties: • Check best-before and expiry dates on every box • Apply labels, barcodes and batch codes to each pack • Feed products onto the conveyor belt and clear jams • Separate rejects and re-pack faulty units • Inspect packs for leaks, dents or damaged seals • Seal cartons with a tape gun or hot-melt glue Ideal candidate: • Able to follow health and safety procedures • Willing to work rotating shifts, including nights • Attention to detail for date codes and labelling 5+ years on the tools preferred.
