Excavator operator — Nantucket County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an excavator operator in Nantucket County, Massachusetts. You will be based at a landfill site. On a typical shift you will read site drawings and follow the batter and slope profiles; grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift; stockpile and spread material to the required levels; keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines; work in coordination with the banksman and ground crew on signals. What we are looking for: • Understanding of safe digging near underground services • Willing to work at remote sites and mines on a roster • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
