Lift installation engineer — Cowley County

Now hiring: we are hiring a lift installation engineer in Cowley County, Kansas. Day-to-day duties: • Test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake • Service the traction motor, brake and gearbox • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands • Mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators • Top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts • Replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays What we are looking for: • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota Full-time, day shift.
