Car painter — Moray

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a car painter in Moray, Scotland. You should have: • Confident with wet-sanding and machine polishing • Able to mix paint by weight on a scale • 2+ years' experience in automotive refinishing Your main tasks: • Apply etch primer to aluminium and galvanised panels • Sand and feather-edge damaged panels before painting • Apply body filler and block-sand to a smooth contour • Compound and polish the cured finish to a high gloss • Wipe down panels with degreaser and a tack cloth before spraying • Wet-sand and buff out runs, orange peel and dust nibs Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
