Immediate opening: we are hiring a crane operator in Louisa County, Virginia. The role involves: • Hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control • Fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift • Read and interpret the load chart before every lift • Work out the load weight and the lifting radius • Watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity What we are looking for: • Current medical and eyesight certificate • Strong attention to safety and load limits • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts Pay around $5,400 per month, based on your experience.
