Now hiring: we are hiring an overhead (EOT) crane operator in Adavi, Kogi State. You will be based on a high-rise tower crane. Requirements: • Able to read load charts and lifting plans • A good head for heights for tower crane work On a typical shift you will fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure; follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger; park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift; read and interpret the load chart before every lift; work out the load weight and the lifting radius.
