Restoration bricklayer wanted in Kent

Vacancy available: we are hiring a restoration bricklayer in Kent, England. Day to day you will setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge; spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel; pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints; building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses; bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters; cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder. You should have: • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts.
