Excavator operator — Cumberland County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an excavator operator in Cumberland County, North Carolina. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and noise • Understanding of safe digging near underground services • Knowledge of pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance Day-to-day duties: • Stockpile and spread material to the required levels • Read site drawings and follow the batter and slope profiles • Keep the cab clean and complete the daily machine logbook • Work in coordination with the banksman and ground crew on signals • Carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension 2+ years on the tools preferred.
