Now hiring: we are hiring a CO2 welder in Barron County, Wisconsin. You will bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding; control distortion with a balanced welding sequence; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions; change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch. What we are looking for: • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • ITI in welder trade or equivalent $2,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
