Urgent requirement: we are hiring a production machine operator in Glasgow City, Scotland. The job is at a busy manufacturing plant. What we are looking for: • 1-2 years' experience operating production machinery • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Able to stand for long hours on the shop floor On a typical shift you will change tooling, dies and moulds during product changeovers; load raw material and feed stock into the machine hopper; monitor gauges and stop the machine when readings drift; report breakdowns to the maintenance fitter; key in cycle parameters such as speed, feed rate and temperature; carry out daily clean-down and 5S of the work station. Pay around £2,600 per month, based on your experience. Meals and transport allowance provided. Rotating shifts. Contact us to fix an interview.
