Bricklayer — Knox County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a bricklayer in Knox County, Texas. The role involves brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go; erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts; pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints; building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses; mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser; bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
