Join our team: we are hiring a laundry presser in Carlton County, Minnesota. The job is in a garment export house. On the job you will handle: • Remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots You should have: • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
