Bricklayer • Union County, Mississippi

We are recruiting: we are hiring a bricklayer in Union County, Mississippi. Ideal candidate: • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) The role involves: • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
