Gang bricklayer — Huerfano County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a gang bricklayer in Huerfano County, Colorado. Requirements: • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets Day-to-day duties: • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints • Checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod • Erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. $4,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
