PVC window fabricator wanted in Tompkins County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a PVC window fabricator in Tompkins County, New York. Your main tasks: • Crimp glazing beads to length and snap them into the frame • Insert galvanised steel reinforcement into the profile chambers and screw-fix it • Cut uPVC profiles to size on a double-mitre saw at 45 degrees • Clean welded corners on a corner-cleaning machine and chisel off the weld flash • Read the cutting list and optimisation sheet and label each profile • Take site measurements of openings before fabrication What we are looking for: • Able to work to deadlines in a busy workshop • Knowledge of common hardware systems such as espagnolette and friction hinges Full-time, day shift.
