Safety inspector — Washington County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a safety inspector in Washington County, Nebraska. Day-to-day duties: • Run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry • Carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift • Run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points • Inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height • Ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site What we are looking for: • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills • Clear spoken delivery for toolbox talks and inductions • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces Full-time with occasional weekends.
