Now hiring: we are hiring a nursery worker in Carroll County, Virginia. Day-to-day duties: • Maintain compost heaps and the potting shed • Mow and edge lawns with petrol and ride-on mowers • Dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds • Lay turf and oversow bare patches of lawn • Rake up fallen leaves, grass clippings and garden waste You should have: • Physically fit for bending, lifting and long hours outdoors • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting Part-time with flexible hours.
