Great opportunity: we are hiring a gtaw welder in Carson County, Texas. The job is at a precision engineering workshop. You will clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters; select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job. Requirements: • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Pay around $3,900 per month, based on your experience. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
