Toolroom milling operator — Wilson County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a toolroom milling operator in Wilson County, North Carolina. You will work at a busy machine shop. The role involves set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe; read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence; machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing; set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines. Requirements: • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work • Able to grind and set HSS cutters • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
