Cake decorator — Delaware County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a cake decorator in Delaware County, Iowa. You will work at a busy bakery. On the job you will handle: • Knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer • Roll out short-crust and biscuit dough • Pipe and fill cakes, pastries and cream rolls • Monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch • Grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds • Shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand Requirements: • Able to work early-morning and night shifts • Accurate at weighing and following recipes • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics Performance bonus on top of base pay.
