Vacancy available: we are hiring a sewing machine operator in Waller County, Texas. Day-to-day duties: • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes Ideal candidate: • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines Part-time with flexible hours.
