Great opportunity: we are hiring a tower crane operator in Rock County, Wisconsin. The job is at a container port and shipping yard. Ideal candidate: • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) • Able to read load charts and lifting plans • Strong attention to safety and load limits Day-to-day duties: • Help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone • Fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports • Work out the load weight and the lifting radius • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams Rotating shifts.
