Baker — South Gloucestershire

Now hiring: we are hiring a baker in South Gloucestershire, England. You will be based in a bread factory. On a typical shift you will keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards; decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream; prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity; monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch; shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand. What we are looking for: • Able to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen • Food handler / hygiene certificate • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
