Immediate opening: we are hiring a D6/D8 dozer operator in Meigs County, Ohio. Ideal candidate: • Familiar with GPS and laser machine-control systems • Able to read grade stakes, drawings and site levels • Willing to work on remote sites and rotating rosters The role involves rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank; maintain haul roads and keep drainage falls clear; operate crawler dozers to push and spread fill across the site; refuel the machine and record running hours; carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil; clear land of trees, stumps and debris before earthworks begin. 5+ years on the tools preferred.
