Now hiring: we are hiring a press operator in Chittenden County, Vermont. The role involves: • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting • Record output and downtime on the production sheet • Set up and change stamping dies and tooling • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts Requirements: • Attention to detail and steady hands for accurate loading • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
