Furnace operator wanted in Anoka County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a furnace operator in Anoka County, Minnesota. You should have: • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts Your main tasks: • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces • Inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch Part-time with flexible hours. We offer $2,700 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
