Machine operator (earthworks) — Jefferson County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a machine operator (earthworks) in Jefferson County, Pennsylvania. You will work at a drainage and utilities contractor. What we are looking for: • Confident working to fine grade and tight tolerances • Sound understanding of daily maintenance and greasing Day to day you will load spoil into tippers and dumpers cleanly without spillage; grade, level and batter slopes to the required gradient; backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers; dig foundation trenches and footings to the marked depths and levels; inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up; swap buckets and attachments — rock breaker, grab, ripper, auger. At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. $3,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Six days a week, one day off. Contact us to fix an interview.
